2. Legal Matters
We work with well known Spanish lawyers based in Marbella. We take care for you of all the necessary legal matters throughout the buying process
We arrange all viewings prior to your arrival. During viewing you have opportunity to ask all the questions and get to know the area
Document is signed in order to take the property off the market. Expected reservation deposit is between 6.000 to 10.000 EUR + VAT
Contracts cover all the terms, conditions and obligations of the purchase for each party. Upon signature the buyer is expected to pay 10 - 30% of the purchase price ( - deposit + legal fees)
Signing of the Purchase Title Deed before the Notary, and registering it at the Land Registry. Upon payment of the remaining purchase price the keys are handed over to new owner = you.
7. Taxes and other fees
Depending on the type of property the taxes are equal to VAT (10%) for new properties or 7% for older properties.
8. Final steps
Besides enjoying your new house or appartment, it is needed to update contracts for utilities, council tax and rubbish tax as well as community fees,.
